A UAE tax invoice needs your TRN, the words “Tax Invoice”, the customer’s details and TRN where they are registered, the date of supply, a description of each line, the VAT rate and amount per line, and totals in AED.
Many teams produce this as a document template and keep only the PDF. That works until someone needs to report, correct or exchange the invoice electronically.
Store the invoice as structured data first: each line with its tax code, rate and amount, plus both TRNs and the supply date. Render the PDF from that data. Corrections then become credit notes that reference the original, rather than edits to a file.
This is general information, not tax advice. Confirm your obligations with your tax adviser.
